In order to heal from anxiety we need to have a deep internal understanding of ourselves, our own experiences, reactions, behaviours, patterns and thoughts. Without this understanding, we miss the mark completely.
Anxiety is a common emotional response that can be triggered by a range of different experiences throughout our lives. Oftentimes, the causes of our anxiety may not be immediately apparent, and we may struggle to understand why we are experiencing feelings of fear, worry, or unease. This is because our experiences and memories can influence our unconscious mind, shaping our attitudes towards life in a way that we may not consciously understand. Unresolved traumas, hidden fears, and negative self-talk can leave us in a state of constant anxiety, without us even realising it.
While anxiety can seem like an insurmountable challenge, it is important to understand that we do have the power to take control of our emotional wellbeing. By remaining present and open to learning, we can identify and manage the sources of our anxiety, and ultimately lead happier, more fulfilling life.
